I just saw a FB post on why women in India wear jeans and advising  them to wear sarees,salwars ,etc which are traditionaI Indian wears.This post made me think why  do the men in this country wear jeans? I suppose our country has  not yet started considering them as  American citizens. As per Indian tradition they should be wearing dhothi, pyjamas,etc etc .Don't they? And the next comment 'churidhar ittal shawl koodi idilla' oh God it's such a big crime to not wear shawl  .When you wear a churidhar and not wear a shawl or wear it without  being pinned on both sides, some people are so restless and they pass on such comments.For them not wearing a shawl with churidhar is like not being dressed at all . The problem is not with the dressing, the problem is with the eyes with which you look  upon her.
